Import Files

What

If you already have existing JSON and markdown, you can import these files into Stoplight.

JSON

Copy and paste your JSON directly into Stoplight’s Modeling and Testing platforms and it will auto-populate the GUI. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Markdown

Copy and paste your markdown into Stoplight’s Modeling platform to add descriptions to your spec or paste it into Hubs to enhance your documentation.

How

JSON

1. Create a new file or choose an existing one
2. Select the Code View
3. Copy and paste your JSON into the Code editor

Markdown

1. Create a new file or choose an existing one
2. Select the Design View
3. Copy and paste your Markdown into Text Blocks
